There are so many factors that go into one's health and we owe it to ourselves to be as healthy and pain free as possible.
I believe that everyone has the ability to heal themselves whether it is from a chronic condition that has lingered for years or a more recently sustained injury. I also believe that everybody could use some help in this regard and that is where I come in.
Pain is experienced when and where the flow of energy is restricted. My treatments are aimed at moving or shifting this blocked energy so that smooth energy flow and balance is restored. I use a combination of acupuncture and various energy healing techniques to help you to heal on the physical, mental and emotional levels.
About me:
I grew up in Lincoln, Massachusetts.
Earned my BA from Emory University in Atlanta, Georgia in 1992.
Graduated from the Boulder College of Massage Therapy in Boulder, CO in 2002.
Graduated from the New England School of Acupuncture in Newton, MA in 2012.
I also have had training in:
visionary craniosacral therapy - gently manipulating the connective tissue throughout the body to unwind tension patterns and release stress and pain
reiki healing - channels Universal Life Force Energy to effect positive change in the energetic as well as physical body
qigong healing - a variety of techniques to help the flow of energy in the body
energy and aura healing - a variety of techniques to support the body, mind and spirit including the aura which is the energetic body surrounding and supporting your physical body
Essentially all of these modalities achieve the same thing which is to help people move blocked energy in order to feel better, have more energy and be more relaxed.
I love connecting to the source of all there is and being a conduit to the Universal Life Force energy which creates and permeates all things.

TREATMENT
I use a combination of acupuncture and energy healing in each of my treatments and find they complement each other well.

Acupuncture
I use super fine needles placed in specific locations to bring your body back into balance and heal. Every treatment is uniquely tailored to what you need in the moment. Getting needled in acupuncture is VERY different than what you might experience in a medical doctor's office. With acupuncture the patient often doesn't even realized he/she has been needled or there is just a slight pinching sensation.
Energy Healing
I use a variety of techniques to positively affect change in your body, mind and spirit. These include primarily craniosacral therapy and reiki healing which uses subtle physical and energetic manipulations along with intention. Part of this intention is to allow for the Universal Life Force energy to flow threw me.
It is very gentle and can be a powerful way to unwind tension and blocked energy held in the body.
